Jan Bernard, Secretary
Born in the Czech Republic, I grew up and live in Newcastle Upon Tyne. I am obsessed with caring for the environment and energy preservation & new energy technologies. I am a complete geek and love gadgets.
Since ever passing my driving test, I was always looking for ways of maximising economy and reducing my impact on the environment. I soon discovered the benefits of hybrid which ultimately led me to discover the benefits of an electric motor in cars. My latest edition in the family is a Nissan LEAF Tekna (yes – with a solar panel on it’s roof). Now, I am so excited about the new technologies coming out that I genuinely feel more people need to ditch their ICEs discover the world of EV’s. And this is why I joined EVDA UK. Excited to be joining EVDA UK as their Liaison, my role will help bring The Industry and the EV driver closer together, so that more people can discover the importance and benefits of EV driving and be directly involved with future developments from design to charging infrastructure.
