EVDA-UK has had a request from Newcastle University (forwarded by ChargeYour Car) to give support to their fascinating research project which evaluating how computer technology could be used to ease the challenge of EV adoption.
The research is actually done collaboratively with universities in 4 European cities/regions: Barcelona, Gipuzkoa-San Sebastian, Newcastle and Reggio Emilia! The project is known as smartCEM (Smart Connected Electro Mobility) and is looking at 5 specific services: EV-navigation, EV-efficient driving, EV-trip management, EV-charging station management.
